Late 2025, right as Christmas was creeping closer, we got the call: “Is there any chance you can fit us in before the holidays?”
We really wanted to make it happen, not just because it was a flooring job, but because of the people behind it.
We actually met the owner the year before. It wasn’t one of those measure today, install tomorrow situations. We stayed in touch, checked in from time to time, and built a genuine relationship. That’s the part we care about most. Trust first, then the work.
So when the timing finally lined up, we pulled things together and made room in the calendar. The goal was simple. Get it done before Christmas so they could enjoy the space properly over the break.
Over the week, the home started changing day by day. Our carpet team came in and absolutely nailed it. Clean lines, smooth finish, and that fresh, cozy feel that instantly lifts a room. Then our laminate installer followed through with the same attention to detail, bringing a crisp, modern look that tied everything together.

One of the biggest challenges we faced was the subfloor levelness. To get the floor within industry standard, we had to use quite a bit of leveller, and we spent a solid amount of time sanding down the high spots and humps before any flooring could go in. It was the kind of work you don’t always see in the final photos, but it’s the difference between a floor that looks good on day one and a floor that performs well for years.
