Commercial Flooring Project – BestStart, Cameron Road
We recently completed this commercial flooring project at the BestStart office on Cameron Road, transforming the staff bathrooms, toilets, and staff room with a durable and practical flooring solution designed for a busy workplace environment.
Working closely alongside the project management team, our installers, and other trades on site, we carefully coordinated the project to ensure all work was completed within the required timeframe while maintaining a high standard of workmanship throughout.
The client selected a semi-commercial vinyl flooring product that provided the ideal balance between durability, functionality, and aesthetics. The chosen flooring complemented the overall look of the space while being well suited to the daily demands of a high-traffic commercial environment.
The project involved the complete uplift and disposal of the existing flooring, followed by extensive floor preparation where required. To meet the hygiene and durability requirements of the wet areas, full coved skirting and capping trims were installed throughout the staff bathrooms and toilet areas, creating a seamless finish that is easy to maintain and clean.

What We Did
For this commercial flooring project at BestStart Cameron Road, our team completed the uplift and disposal of the existing flooring throughout the staff bathrooms, toilets, and staff room.
Working closely with the project management team, we carefully coordinated our installation programme around other trades on site to ensure the project remained on schedule and disruption was kept to a minimum.
Following the removal of the existing flooring, the subfloor was prepared and made ready for the new installation. We then supplied and installed the selected semi-commercial vinyl flooring, chosen by the client for its durability, practicality, and modern appearance.
To meet the requirements of these wet and high-use areas, we installed full coved skirting and capping trims throughout the bathrooms and toilet facilities. This created a seamless and hygienic finish while improving long-term durability and ease of maintenance.
Throughout the project, communication between our team, project management, and other contractors was key to ensuring each stage flowed smoothly.
