Whole Home Revive XL Laminate, Welcome Bay
Sasha and her family had just bought a new home in Welcome Bay and came to us knowing exactly what they wanted. The catch was timing. With a move out of the old house and into the new one to coordinate, the flooring had to be done and dusted on a tight timeline.
The job covered flooring throughout the entire home in our Revive XL laminate, a wider 1510 x 235mm plank that gives a big, open look through living areas, hallways and bedrooms alike.
Our role was simple. Take the flooring side of the move completely off their hands. Once their floor was chosen, all they had to do was confirm a start date and tell us which direction they wanted it laid. We managed the rest.
Scope of Works
- Uplift and disposal of the existing carpet
- Undercutting of all skirting throughout the home
- Supply and installation of Revive XL laminate, approx. 130sqm
- Laying direction agreed with the homeowners before starting
- Scheduling worked around the family's moving dates
- Site clean-up and final detailing
Moving house already comes with enough to organise. We were glad to make this part a little easier.

What We Did
We started by uplifting and disposing of the old carpet right through the house, leaving a clean base ready for the new floor.
All the skirting was then undercut so the Revive XL could slide neatly underneath with the right expansion gap around the edges. No scotia, no bulky trims, just a clean line where the floor meets the wall.
With the laying direction confirmed by the homeowners, we ran the laminate through the whole home, keeping the planks flowing continuously from room to room so the house reads as one space rather than a patchwork of areas.
Because the family had a move to juggle, we kept the decisions on their side to a minimum. Pick the floor, pick a start date, pick a direction. Everything else, from scheduling to disposal to the final clean, was on us.
Challenges & Solutions
The biggest challenge on this job was the timeline. The family were moving out of one house and into another, so the flooring had to fit inside that window without holding anything up.
We locked in a start date early, kept communication clear about what would happen each day, and had the floor finished in time for the new home to be lived in. A tight schedule is a lot easier to manage when only one team is responsible for getting it done.
